Recent Quilting Projects

Updates on ongoing projects--most are UFOs (Unfinished Objects).

This is a block-of-the-month (BOM) project using Bunny Hill Designs 'My Summer House' pattern. .  purchased the BOM from one of my favorite stores, Shabby Fabrics. Each month they send a block for sewing, applique and finishing. There are eleven blocks in total, along with sashing and borders. I'm on blocks 9-11 now. Here are the finished blocks 1-8. Shabby Fabrics precuts and lines the applique pieces with fusible adhesive, really saving time for this project.

When it's all done, it should look like this:

This Woodland Friends quilt is done, just needs to be bound--the most boring part of quiliting. I'll get around to it soon-ish. The nylon pen under the quilting machine is a Guinea pig playpen. My grandson's Guinea's have expanded their territory to my sewing room, for some reason.

This is a quilt topper that needs to be backed, batted, and bound. Some day.
